All our plantations and mills are managed in accordance with the company's commitments as outlined in the KPN Plantations Sustainability Policy.
This policy encompasses the responsible development of the palm oil industry, with considerations for environmental conservation, protection of workers' rights, and promotion of community development in our operational areas.
Starting from 2018, we have implemented the NDPE (No Deforestation, No Peat, and No Exploitation) policy. One of the key aspects of this policy is the suspension of all new land development activities.
In 2023, the NDPE Policy was updated to ensure our policies remain adaptive and responsive to the evolving needs of stakeholders and the environment.
This policy applies to the KPN Plantations group and all the third parties, including suppliers and contractors. Our sustainability progress and efforts are reported through our website and sustainability reports.
Externally, we strive to continually contribute to dialogues and advancements in sustainability across the industry as members of the Indonesian Palm Oil Association (IPOA) and Fire Free Alliance (FFA). Our participation in these organizations highlights our proactive role in shaping a sustainable future for the industry and the broader ecosystem.
