PT. TH-Indo Plantations Donates Water Ambulance to Tanjung Simpang Village
Indragirione.com – PT TH Indo Plantations, through its Senior Manager of Social, Security & License, Syahri Abdullah, provided a unit of water ambulance (or speedboat ambulance) as Corporate Social Sustainability (CSR) assistance to the community. The ambulance was received by the Head of Tanjung Simpang Village, Fery Irawan, on Thursday, July 28, 2022. This donation aims to improve healthcare services for the residents of Tanjung Simpang Village, located in Pelangiran District, Indragiri Hilir Regency.
Syahri Abdullah, Senior Manager of SSL at PT TH-Indo Plantations, explained the rationale behind the donation. He highlighted the challenges faced by the community, particularly those living far from urban centers like Tanjung Simpang Village. The water ambulance is intended to be a valuable resource for the general public who require medical attention.
"This program is a testament to PT TH-Indo Plantations' commitment to supporting the Tanjung Simpang Village community," stated Syahri Abdullah. "Our goal is to improve public access to healthcare." He further elaborated that the donation serves a dual purpose: enhancing the quality of healthcare services and contributing to the well-being of the community.
Fery Irawan, the Head of Tanjung Simpang Village, expressed his gratitude for the water ambulance. He emphasized its importance in serving not only Tanjung Simpang Village but also surrounding areas. This medical facility will bridge the gap and provide vital medical services to those in need.
"On behalf of the Tanjung Simpang Village Government and the community, I extend our sincere gratitude," said Fery Irawan. "This water ambulance will undoubtedly benefit the people of Tanjung Simpang Village. We are hopeful that it will make a significant impact on their lives." He concluded by acknowledging the limitations in facilities and healthcare personnel within the village. The water ambulance, he believes, will be instrumental in providing timely medical assistance to patients requiring urgent care.
