PT Agriprima Cipta Persada Initiates Sustainable Coffee Farming in Seed Agung Village
PT Agriprima Cipta Persada (PT ACP) has launched an innovative program in Seed Agung Village. This program aims to improve the welfare of coffee farmers while preserving the environment.
Through this program, the coffee farmers are trained in environmentally friendly coffee cultivation, including the selection of superior seeds, efficient planting methods and post-harvest management. The farmers also receive assistance with modern agricultural tools and education on the use of organic fertilizers.
PT ACP SSL Manager, Mohammad Arief, explained that through this program, the company encourages farmers to adopt sustainable farming practices. The goal is to reduce negative impacts on the environment such as soil degradation and water pollution.
"We are committed to integrating sustainable farming practices with environmental protection efforts. We hope that this initiative will not only improve the livelihoods of coffee farmers but also preserve the local landscape and ecosystem," he said.
The Seed Agung Village community is very enthusiastic and grateful for the support of PT ACP. The head of the coffee farming group, Mekarti, assessed that this program has successfully increased the quality and quantity of farmers' harvests.
"With this new knowledge and skills, we are confident that we can increase coffee yields while keeping our surrounding environment healthy and sustainable," Arief added.
PT ACP is committed to continuing to develop this program and expanding it to other areas. The company's ultimate goal is to create a broader positive impact on the community and the environment.
