PT. Agriprima Cipta Persada Demonstrates Commitment to Local Communities

MERAUKE,ARAFURA,- PT. Agriprima Cipta Persada has consistently upheld its commitment to social responsibility towards surrounding communities since its establishment in Anim Ha. This commitment manifests across various sectors and continues to this day.

On Thursday, September 21st, the company's sustainability coordinator presented essential aid to the Mahuze Pachas clan. The assistance included a rest house, a drilled well, and PLN electricity connections. This initiative aligns with PT. Agriprima Cipta Persada's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, which focuses on social activities that support communities impacted by the company's operations. The program benefits both transmigrant and indigenous Papuan (local) communities.

"The provision of this assistance underscores our commitment to building partnerships of mutual benefit with the local clans," explained Moh. Arief, Senior Manager of SSL and Sustainability at PT. Agriprima Cipta Persada, in a written statement.

By providing this rest house, the company hopes to offer a place of respite for local communities, particularly the Mahuze Pachas clan, when they travel from their villages. This will allow them to comfortably stay for at least a day or two in Kampung Enggol Jaya.

The handover ceremony of the assistance took place with the clan chief and several members of the Mahuze Pachas clan, signifying the official availability of the rest house for their use. (is)
