Ella Hilir Police Station Donated Borewell and Water Filtration System to Popai Village
TRIBUNPONTIANAK.CO.ID, MELAWI - In commemoration of the 78th National Bhayangkara Day, the Ella Hilir Police Station donated borewell and water filtration system to the residents of Dusun Popai, Desa Popai, on Wednesday (7/8/2024). The handover was conducted directly by the Chief of Ella Hilir Police Station (Kapolsek Ella Hilir), Ipda Jamidi, accompanied by the Village Head of Popai, Ahmad Yani.
Also present at the event were the Bhabinkamtibmas of Desa Popai, Aipda Maskur, and the Manager of PT Citra Mahkota, Hendri Tarigan. This borewell and filtration system is expected to fulfill the clean water needs of the residents of Dusun Popai.
The Chief of Melawi Police (Kapolres Melawi), AKBP Muhammad Syafi'i, through the Chief of Ella Hilir Police Station, stated, "We hope this assistance can be well-maintained and beneficial to the community. Furthermore, we also hope this can strengthen the ties between the police and the community." Ipda Jamidi added, "The water produced by this borewell has undergone a filtration process, making it safe for consumption."
