Community Rights

We deeply honor and uphold the rights of local communities, particularly indigenous communities, to determine the use of their land. A fundamental aspect of this commitment is ensuring their Free, Prior, and Informed Consent (FPIC), where indigenous communities are actively involved in the decision-making process regarding projects impacting their areas.

Furthermore, we actively engage in grievance resolution processes and conflict mediation to foster open dialogue and cultivate mutually beneficial partnerships with local communities. All negotiations regarding compensation for loss of benefits and/or relinquishment of rights are conducted without constraint and agreed upon voluntarily by the community.
